A local facility would mean that she would be able to provide a release from the physical immobility that her children endure.
Tess, 14, and Roland, nine, live with different medical health problems.
Tess has severe cerebral palsy, and was recently diagnosed with lupus.
"She is extremely stiff, and she gets freedom in the water,” said Mrs Hunt.
"She is able to move parts of her limbs that she can't move herself unless she is in the water, and the feeling of freedom in the water she can't get anywhere else.
“Because she has cerebral palsy she can't regulate her body temperature. I even tried a spa at home, and she felt it too constricted, she needs the freedom of a pool,

“It's priceless, the smile on her face is priceless when she is in the water,” said Mrs Hunt.
Roland is nine, and he has a rare genetic disorder that results in undeveloped motor skills.
He is using hydro resistance training to build up his muscles, and his ability to function to complete every day work and every day jobs.
“He has been with us for two years, and two years ago he couldn't turn a door handle.
“Our goal for us is for him to be semi-independent,” said Mrs Hunt.
Mrs Hunt recently signed a petition, one of 700 signatures, and counting, to be handed to council next month.
The petition, and a report, with initial capital cost by Concrete Pools, and feasibility of ongoing maintenance costs, against expected earnings.
The hydrotherapy pool is a health hub not a sports hub, said David Carter, one of the petition organisers.
Families such as Mrs Hunt's use the National Disability Insurance Scheme to access the hydrotherapy pool in Goulburn, an initiative that Mr Carter hopes will be considered when Upper Lachlan Shire Council review the petition.
Council is aware of the community petition currently being circulated which is advocating for a hydrotherapy pool in Crookwell, said ULSC General Manager John Bell.
“Once received by council, the petition will be referred to council’s Pool Committee, which has been established to investigate the feasibility and practicality of a hydrotherapy and heated pool for Crookwell and assess the performance and adequacy of existing pools in the ULS.”
