However, it is his remarkable bottle opener collection that earned him an Australian record.
His collection of 1010 bottle openers is recognised by The Australian Book of Records, a subsidiary of the Guinness World Records.
Mr Harrison has collected bottle openers since the early 1970s, but it was only in 2007 that he started to seriously collect them.

“A bloke gave me a Johnny Walker one and I showed my father, and he gave me one he got during the war,” he said.
"Out of 1010, I've got seven doubles. If you put 50 bottle openers in front of me, I could tell you which ones I have.”
There are hand-made bottle openers from the 1850s, sold to Mr Harrison by the new proprietor of a hotel in Burra in South Australia, handed down by his great-great-grandfather.
This extends to the most valuable in the collection, a 24 carat-gold dolphin, purchased in Huskisson.
A goat’s horn, Viking swords, phallus of different shapes and sizes, ornate and plastic, from corkscrews to twist tops.
When Mr Harrison first began his collection, he only wanted one for every day of the year. “I never thought I'd get that far,” he said. “Now I'll go for the world record.
The Guinness Record is a collection of 33,492 bottle openers.
