Work is expected to commence in early November on the $1 million project, awarded to ARW Multipgroup in Goulburn, says Upper Lachlan Shire general manager John Bell.
The plans include a gym, club room canteen, toilets with disabled facilities, change rooms, referee room, and storage. It also includes the demolition of the existing toilets and gym and the canteen block, as well as the removal and replacement of the storage shed.
The budget recently received additional monies of $315,000 under the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund.
This investment is to ensure the centre will be operational by 2019.

The allocation will go towards the bathroom and change room outfit, installation of the specialised gym floor and the purchase of canteen appliances.
Crookwell Green Devils president John McGeechan said the fields were expected to finished by April, ready for training and games for the 2019 rugby league season beginning in May.
“They were dilapidated and were way out of date,” Mr McGeechan said.
The project plan is believed to have been submitted to ARW Multigroup set out in two parts.
ARW Multigroup will now complete the construction of part one of the project. This includes the structural engineering, and club room and gym shell, and fencing.
They will be advised on part two of the project throughout the term of the build.
Part two includes the construction of the perimeter veranda roofing; structural framing, concrete path, and finishes; fittings and finishes in the club room and gym; suspended ceiling; floor finishes; wall linings; insulation; electrical services; and soft landscaping.
