St Mary’s Primary School will host the Argyle Model Railway Society members for the event held on November 24.
The idea was formed after St Mary’s student, Nathaniel, wanted to share his “wonderful hobby” with his classmates.
Year 4 student Nathaniel, is an avid collector of locomotives and model railwaying, and layouts.
He is also the youngest member of the Argyle Model Railway Society.
Since he received his first train on his seventh birthday model railwaying has become a wonderful hobby for Nathaniel.
The first train in the collection was the Flying Scotsman, and since then he has collected nine locomotives and has plenty of rolling stock.
Nathaniel will bring his model railway layout to Kids Day Out, with other members of the Argyle Model Railway Society.
Kids Day Out will also feature Thomas the Tank Engine, accompanied by Annie, Clarabel and James, Edward and Percy.
- Kids Day Out, St Mary’s Primary School Crookwell, November 24 10am-3pm. Activities from $2.
