Get into the Christmas spirit by making your own Christmas crackers at Gunning Library from 3pm this Friday, December 14. Bookings are essential on 4845 1231.
Christmas activities will continue with the Collector Community Picnic and Carols at All Saints Anglican Church from 5pm this Saturday, December 15. On Sunday, December 16, a Kids Christmas Party will be held at Crookwell RSL from 11am and the Taralga Christmas Carols will be held at St Luke’s Anglican Church from 6.30pm.
On Saturday, December 22, Bigga Golf Club’s Kid’s Christmas Party will kick off at 5pm and the Gunning Carols by Candlelight will commence at 5.30pm at Barbour Park. For details about shire events visit: visitupperlachlan.com.au
To keep the kids entertained, an Under the Sea craft activity will be held at Crookwell Library and a Make Your Own Felt Finger Puppet or Hand Puppet activity will be held at Gunning Library throughout the school holidays. Both activities are for kids five and up. More library activities will be announced shortly. Both libraries will also be participating in the Summer Reading Club. It’s a great way to encourage reading and participation is free. To register, visit Crookwell or Gunning Libraries to fill in the registration form and pick up your free activity pack.
