His departure, in early January, fell over the busy Christmas period, however, had been managed by the centre.
Following the announcement of Dr Sissing’s departure, the practice has announced the introduction of two new female general practitioners.
They will both begin at The Health Care Centre in February.
Dr Sissing, who had been in a full time, permanent role with the practice since August 2016, left the practice for personal reasons.
He had also acted as a visiting medical officer role with the Crookwell District Hospital since August 2017.
A letter addressed to the patients of The Health Care Centre stated he would be moving to Canberra to join a medical practice.
His departure has been managed by the centre with a handover of regular patients and reschedule of appointments.
Dr Amy Chahal and Dr Dalia Henns will begin work at the centre in February.
