The pool which did not open until 1pm had been scheduled to open at 11am.
This was due to a glass breakage in the pool, a spokesperson from the council said.
The council have denied there had been a break-in and the pool had been trashed: “What it looks like was a bottle had been thrown over the fence and smashed on the concourse and fell into the pool.”
This then had to be cleaned up properly by staff before it could open to the public.
The Crookwell Swimming Pool is open from Saturday to Thursday 11am-6pm, and on Friday from 11am-5pm.
The swimming pool rules: children under the age of 10 years must be supervised by a parent or a responsible guardian over the age of 18 years.
