Bigga Quick Shear
Quick Shears have become popular across regional Australia. The Quick Shear, as its sounds, is all about speed.
This event is hosted by the Bigga Golf Club, so come out for the day, watch some lightning action and enjoy a great meal.

Taralga Rodeo
Cattle Dog Trials, Stock Dog Challenge and three days of the State & Regional Yard Dog Trials begin on Friday, January 25.
Enjoy watching the horsemanship of the Gymkhana, Junior Rodeo and Junior & Novice Barrel Racing.
Saturday night is country music night. Sunday is non-stop action with the Senior Rodeo Championship.
There will be a variety of stalls and rides to add to all the weekends’ fun, along with barbecue food, drinks and bar service available all weekend.

Gunning Lions Market
Experience traditional country markets located in and around the historic courthouse, you’ll find homemade jams, honey, locally made arts and crafts, home made goods, children’s toys and books perfect for summer reading.
The Lions Club are providing a barbecue for breakfast and lunch offering bacon and egg rolls, sausage rolls or steak sandwiches.
Not only can you find some fabulous things at the markets, Gunning has a pub, cafes and shops and pioneering history that can be explored with the self-guided walk available from the Gunning Paper Shop.
