This year, a Supernats car from Crookwell that hasn't been seen in public for four years is making a reappearance, and the organisers tell us everyone is keen to see this machine on display.
The show was started as a local get-together for people to come and share their cars and stories with others in a friendly atmosphere.
Since then, the Laggan Pub Car Show has grown and is gaining in popularity, especially as it serves as a fundraiser for local charities.
Major sponsors Studio 4 and Daniel's Auto Group are proud to be associated with this event, as are the many members of the Crookwell Car Club who volunteer their time and efforts to make this show get better and better each year.
Leigh Layden, one of the hard-working organisers that put this wonderful event together, said they were hoping for 150 cars or more to be entered and put on display.
"Car numbers have remained steady in the past years but we are working to build the shop up with spectator numbers increasing as the show gains traction within the community," Leigh said.
There will be food and coffee available and of course the ever-popular Laggan Pub will have their bar open for refreshments and food from 10am.
It's a great day for the family to come down to Peelwood Road and admire the cars, plus your children can enjoy the free playground area, jumping castle and face painting.
There are eight categories of cars to be judged on the day with great prizes on offer for entrants and the public. The judges will be committee members from the Crookwell Car Club.
Crookwell Car Club grew very quickly
The annual Laggan Pub Car Show is a great attraction for car lovers and enthusiasts, and it is thanks mainly to the efforts of the Crookwell Car Club that this event continues to grow each year. The club operates under the title of "Ironmine Cruisers".
What began as a simple gathering of just a few cars some years ago, has turned into a crowd-gathering affair and a great day out for families. A group of car enthusiasts had been meeting on an informal basis and knew that a couple of people were keen to start an official club that would bring together other car owners for organised runs and social outings.
Crookwell Car Club is in charge of putting the Laggan Pub Car Show together and do so with the same passion the share for their cars.
The club was founded in 2017 by 11 people in the region who had recognised there was a need for a car club in the area. Anthony O'Brien is club president and there are 97 members in the club. Membership is closed.
At club meetings and car runs, members gather to share their vehicle maintenance skills, take part in the various cub events and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded people. The club is always hard at work helping to raise funds for the community and charity schemes.
Crookwell Car Club contributes to the Charity Cruise which takes place in April, the Potato Festival car display and the Crookwell Show car display.
Paid-up members must attend a minimum of four events a year with all types of cars being eligible to be registered.
Members agree that taking their cars out for a cruise is one of the best parts of owning a vehicle.
"The feel of the wind on your face as the V8 roars and rattles. The classic car cruising across a highway. Pit stops and a local feed with friends." These are just some of the comments you will hear from those who love to take their cars out for a run.
Come along and meet some of the local car lovers at the Laggan Pub Car Show on March 23. The Crookwell Car Club who now organise this show also enjoy cruises and support various other events through participation.
