This includes 823,822 people who have voted at early voting centres.
NSW Electoral Commissioner John Schmidt is reminding people that early voting centres across the state are open until 6pm tonight.
The NSW Electoral Commission has so far received 1,057,974 votes: postal votes accounted for 50,656; 172,339 people have voted via iVote internet and telephone voting; and mobile voting has been conducted with 11,157 people at facilities including nursing homes, aged care facilities, and hospitals.
Early voting centres are open until 6pm March 22. In the Goulburn electorate, early voting booths are in Goulburn and Yass.
On election day, March 23 voting centres are open between 8am - 6pm.
Places to vote in the Upper Lachlan Shire:
- Bigga Memorial Hall
- Binda Public School
- Collector Memorial Hall
- Crookwell Public School
- Dalton Public School
- Grabben Gullen Public Hall
- Gunning Public School
- Laggan Public School
- Taralga Memorial Hall
People can still register to use iVote internet and telephone voting up until 1pm on election day.
There are eligibility requirements to use iVote, check at elections.nsw.gov.au
You can vote using iVote if you:
- are blind or have low vision
- are unable to vote without assistance or have difficulty voting at a voting centre because you have a disability or have difficulties reading
- are a silent elector
- live more than 20km from a voting centre
- will be interstate or overseas during election day.
Mr Schmidt said voters requiring assistance at voting centres should approach election officials for help.
