The initial price was set at $1.95 million. It sold by by private treaty and the contracts were exchanged on March 27.
It has sold to a couple from the Armidale district. "They are making it their permanent home," Ms Cheetham said.
The homestead, circa 1912, is on 14.74 hectare property with a capacity of 80 DSE, and it is thought the couple may put some stock on it.
The real estate market, if the quality and the presentation is there, is holding up with the affect from the Sydney drop, Ms Cheetham said.
Tronn Alstergen Real Estate recently sold 19 Spring Street for $450,000, it was exchanged in less than a week.
"Crookwell is becoming an increasingly popular place, particularly for out of town buyers."
The zoning at 'Bangalore' is large lot residential which would also allow for future subdivision down to 2 hectare lots.
