Crookwell's Lauren Selmes was among 14 of the country shows' brightest and best to represent their zones.
"There is a very slim chance to go through to Sydney Royal," emcee Lyndsey Douglas said.
"Being accepted as finalists I applaud you."
The ladies have been subject to a vigorous schedule over the past week that included being sashed by the Governor, General David Hurley, meeting with the directors of the Agricultural Societies Council, touring the exhibitions at the Show, visiting The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
On Friday the women faced a panel of judges to discuss topics: Brexit, the Murray-Darling basin and issues affecting their own communities.
Hundreds of people gathered to watch the presentation.
Ms Selmes spoke about the participation of the aged community in Crookwell at the Crookwell Show, her background in sport, and the recent activity of animal activists.
"We're strong and stick together and pull together in this time of need," Ms Selmes said.
The winner was declared as Stephanie Clancy, from the small town of Walbundrie, first runner-up was Effie Ferguson of Dunedoo and Sally Downie of Forbes took second runner-up.
