Over 3,000 players and supporters were on hand each day to play and support the players.
The highlight of the weekend was the performance of the Southern Tablelands Soccer Associations (STFA) Under 12 Girls team who went undefeated in six games and did not have a goal scored against them as they netted 23 goals of their own.
In their first game on Saturday, they played the normally strong Shoalhaven side, but it was the STFA who took the game to the visitors with two quick goals by striker Charlie Cramp in the first half. Cramp struck again twice in the second to set up a 4-0 win.
Their second game against Eurobodalla was much closer, and after some excellent team work they ran out winners 1-0.
In the first half centre back Aislinn Wilson moved into the mid field found herself in space with the ball, She lobbed a pinpoint pass to Lily Skelly who, with only two players and the goalkeeper, put in a snap strike at goal that left the keeper with no chance of saving. The second half was an even contest put the home side was always in charge of the game.
There third game of the day against Highlands was an awesome display of soccer as they run out easy winners 7-0. Goals came from Mia Crothers (1), Lilly Skilly (3) and Charlie Cramp (3). This was a whole team effort that saw all players back each other up with top class passing.
The first game on Sunday saw the team again play Shoalhaven and again it was another awesome effort from the STFA girls as they ran out winners 8-0, with goals coming from Lilly Skelly (4), Isabella Brooks (1) and Charlie Cramp (3).
The second game of the day was a rematch with Eurobodalla, and like the first day it was a close affair as both teams played end to end soccer. It was Lilly Skelly's goal in the second half that sealed a win for the Tablelands side.
The team's last game of the Championships was against Highlands. This time, Highlands took the game to the STFA side and they had several scoring opportunities but luck was not on their side. It was Charlie Cramp from the home side who stepped up to seal the game with two goals, this gave her 12 goals for the weekend.
The team of Charlie Cramp, Lily Skelly, Aislinn Wilson, Sophie Obrien (captain), Mia Skelly, Mia Crothers, Eve Brooker, Isabella Brooks, Fynella Parsons, Layla Primmer, Zoe Keast, Paige Croker along with runners up Eurobodalla will now travel to Merimbula on the June long weekend to play teams from Western NSW and Riverina in the Country Cup Tournament.
