Jamie Derwent, Braiden McCarten and Levi Woods took part in the 2019 Cross Country State finals in Sydney on Friday, July 26 and they did their school proud.
Crookwell High School teacher Belinda Maher was extremely proud of the three's efforts.
"All three of them competed really well," Maher said.
"They came in the middle of the pack from over 100 competitors.
"That was an incredible effort from them to finish where they did."
Maher hoped her students would gain the experience of competing at such a high level against high end athletes from all around the region and state.
"They got to engage with other students from other schools and it gave them a bit of an insight of what it's like to race in that level."
Jamie and Levi would go on to compete at the regional athletics the week after.
