The busy mum of two joins a third of all Australians who work from home in their main job or business. The research from the Australian Bureau of Statistics in 2016 shows this includes people catching up on work.
Having worked from home since establishing her business in 2014 she has just opened a new studio. It allows clients to maintain their privacy which is important to her therapeutic practice.
"I have juggled my home life and my growing business with huge success," Mrs Culhane said.
She says the move in April has made her business more accessible.
"I can extend my business hours to before and after school, to weekends and term breaks with no disruption to the rest of the house. This allows me to see more clients, in turn, help more people and be there for my family at any given moment, a win-win I say."
As the founder of Holistic Health at Crookwell, her techniques relieve pain and helps to heal people.
"My goal is to get people to start thinking about their own health and empowering people to take care of themselves first," she said.
"These days you get treatment for a symptom, but I'll be healing the cause of the problem."
"I've had shearers come to me and mothers with kids with colic."
The program uses several techniques including Bowen and Raindrop therapy. Reiki will soon be introduced and Herbalism - a type of herbal medicine.
Bowen is a technique that manipulates the fascia around the to help people repair the body and mind.
"Bowen has expanded to help people with depression," she said.
Complementary and alternative health has grown in popularity in Australia and is being used together with conventional medicine.
"You have to have a common goal, my perfect world would be if the medical society and the holistic society would kiss and make up.
"I'm not a fence sitter but I do believe in both."
Ms Culhane will continue studying holistic therapy treatments, including herbalism, to expand her scope.
