Auskick will begin on September 15

The start of Crookwell's first Auskick series has been delayed until mid-September.

Six local juniors had signed up to the Auskick program scheduled to begin on August 18.

AFL Canberra's game development manager Luke Martin said that the series at Jean Todkill Park will begin on September 15 with a break during the school holidays and conclude in term 4.

"We have had a recent changeover of staff who were based in our regional offices," Mr Martin said.

"With all of our staff based In Canberra and finals happening currently we did not have the available staff required to run the program."

Crookwell kids can still take part in the Lake George Junior Football Competition.

The program will run for six weeks every Sunday, until November 3 from 10am.
