Burradoo Polocrosse Club's Team Sorting a hit in Gunning

Competitors traveled from Canberra, the Southern Highlands, the South Coast and across the Southern Tablelands to compete in the hotly contested event.

Age divisions ran from Sub Juniors through to Open which saw people of all ages and abilities having a go.

Members of the Burradoo Polocrosse Club not only ran the event but same competed as well.

The majority of competitors and event organisers arrived in Gunning on Friday afternoon and stayed until Sunday.

Increases in business trade was reported by the cafes, butcher, pub and service station in town thanks to the large influx of people.

This is the second year that Burradoo Polocrosse Club has hosted a Team Sorting Event in Gunning.

The Club finds it a terrific venue to host such a competition and is well supported by the Upper Lachlan Shire Council and local businesses.

Burradoo Polocrosse Club was grateful to all of its sponsors for their generous support over the course of the event.

Cattle for the event were generously donated by Brett Hart (Gurrundah), Cloverlee Poll Hereford Stud (Bannister) and Alan McCormack (Gurrundah).
