"Not just the farmers, their families and even the communities are affected in drought-stricken areas. We all suffer in these conditions," Judy Davie, co-founder and chief executive of PA2Health said.
They can participate in a free digital health service which combines stress and sleep strategies, healthy eating, psychology and exercises to suit all fitness levels.
The challenges are delivered through a chatbot. Facebook messenger is used to send information to people on a daily basis.
"After signing up, the state of anxiety and depression of the participants are assessed. To get a gauge of their physical assessment, we inquire about their consumption of fruits and vegetables, intake of water, quality of sleep and level of exercise."
Participants receive daily messages and weekly challenges to help them as they progress through the program.
"We send them information on the last weekend prior to the start of the program so they can do a pre-assessment of their health. If they want, there is a recipe pack with a shopping list and they can prepare for the week ahead," Ms Davie said.
The challenge was recently offered to the residents in Murrumbidgee.
"People who completed the challenge noticed a notable improvement in how they felt in terms of managing their anxiety and stress," she said.
"Our service was developed for regional Australians to empower them to improve their physical and mental health.
"We know how hard it can be to prioritise health, particularly living through these drought conditions, but overcoming challenges is easier with the physical and mental resilience that comes from good health behaviours, and that's why we developed this program."
Participants can register by November 9 as the health and well-being challenge starts on November 11.
