This year, a special late-night shopping evening and festive night out is planned to bring the Christmas spirit to Crookwell.

Retailers will keep their doors open for later on Thursday December 12 until 7pm.
The Crookwell Progress Association and a sub-committee in partnership with the Upper Lachlan Shire Council has organised the late-night shopping event.
It is to support local businesses and to make sure people have the time to find that perfect gift for someone special.
Goulburn Street will come alive with family-friendly entertainment, raffles and a special visit from the big man in the red suit.
Santa Claus will visit Goulburn Street between 5.30pm until 6.30pm, and is available for a photo, or to ask for a special gift, at the Crookwell Services Club from 6.30pm for a gold coin donation.
There will be face painting at the amenities block from 5pm until 7pm, and the Lions Club of Crookwell will hold a major raffle with multiple prizes to win.
The Uniting and Anglican Church congregations will sing Christmas carols at the forecourt of the Uniting Church from 5.30pm.
Then, visit the houses lit up for Christmas using the Crookwell Gazette's interactive online map as a guide.
The Crookwell Progress Association has worked most of the year to ensure that the main street is festive-ready.
The Christmas in Goulburn Street sub-committee of the association - members of the Thursday Men's Coffee Club - decorated the garlands and assisted with hanging them under the business awnings.
They have also put up lights and a Christmas tree at the Crookwell Services Club.
