According to club secretary, Jo Grove, the day was "fantastic".
The turnout from members both past and present was strong, and Grove thanked Katrina Nixon for bringing along a treasure trove of memorabilia from her decade as a member of the club.
These included photos, old trophies, and maps from old Pony Club camps.
"What she brought was really good to show us all how it used to be, years ago," Grove said.
The party was also attended by the Lions Club of Crookwell, who formally presented a cheque for $2000 to represent the donation the club made earlier in the year with which the Pony Club built its new kitchen bench.
"[The Lions Club members] were really pleased with how the Pony Club shed came up and really thankful that we asked them to be part of it," Grove said.
"It was great to have all of them there."
As former members filtered in and out of the party, the children finished their final rides for the year with a Stockman's challenge and trail ride.
Grove also thanked Dave Culley and Kellie Allwright for their input, who took on the bulk of the coaching duties throughout the year.
"They've done so much for the club," Grove said.
Once the kids dismounted, the club ran games such as apple bobbing and boot races, while Christmas carols were also sung.
The club also provided a large cake in celebration of its 60th anniversary, which capped off what Grove said was a "really good day".
"It was nice to thank all the parents and friends and grandparents and everybody who's supported the club," she said.
The size and energy of the CPC was infectious, so much so that former member Nixon expressed her eagerness to come back and work with the club in 2020.
This event wrapped up 2019 for the CPC.
In March 2020, it will hold a 'Come and Try Day', for those who are interested in bringing their pony out and having a ride.
