Police have confirmed that a woman killed in a crash near Taralga this morning was from Goulburn.
Inspector Matt Hinton said the 37-year-old was travelling north, 5km north of the town, when her Toyota Hilux utility left the road, rolled several times and landed on its roof.
There were no witnesses to the crash.
However Inspector Hinton said two or three people arrived on the scene soon after and rendered first aid. Despite their best efforts, the woman died at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not been established at this stage. Detectives and crime scene police are investigating.
The woman's family has been notified.
Inspector Hinton urged people to take care in rural areas.
"Country roads are quite dangerous and ever changing and people need to take time, be patient and get to (their destinations) in the safest possible way," he said.
