"We are seeing more and more people seeking rural living from city areas such as Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra as well as locals looking to exit suburbia," Mr Reardon explains. "Unfortunately, demand for these rural residential lots is [far greater than] supply and buyers need to act quickly to secure properties at present."

As seen here, the former Yattalunga farm estate is being sold in more lifestyle-friendly sizes, with prices for an individual lot ranging between $595,000 and $620,000.

Given its locality such a short distance to Goulburn, Mr Reardon describes these lots as the ideal place to enjoy a rural residential lifestyle right on the city fringe.

For those interested in continuing with agriculture on their lot, "Each property is exceptionally well-watered with two dams, with Lot 1 having an exceptional two and a half acre dam. Lot 1 also benefits from an elevated hill which takes an outstanding view over the Mulwaree river and farmland back in to Goulburn," Mr Reardon said.

Meanwhile "Lots 2 and 3 have the benefit of some existing rural infrastructure. Lot 2 has a substantial set of timber and steel cattle yards including a crush, head bale and loading ramp, while Lot 3 includes a high-clearance hayshed and a 30 tonne silo."
