Nine community groups and projects were awarded funding across the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands as part of the federal government's 'Stronger Communities Programme'.
Exeter Tennis Club was the major beneficiary, receiving $20,000 to go towards court repairs and upgrades to the clubhouse.
Hume MP Angus Taylor said he hoped the funding would allow the club to continue serving the community.
"The Stronger Communities Programme aims to improve community participation by funding a small capital project," Mr Taylor said.
"This project will deliver huge social benefit for a small, local club and ensure this important community facility is kept in good condition for the community to use."
