NSW Police are investigating the movements of a vehicle connected to a missing person before it was involved in a serious motor vehicle crash discovered on Sunday, June 9.

The vehicle was found "totally gutted by fire" as a result of a road accident off Boorowa Road, Narrawa, 40km from Crookwell.

The accident scene was reported to emergency services on Sunday, June 9 about 3pm.
A NSW Police spokesperson told the Gazette the crash site could not be seen from the road and so the vehicle could have been there for some time.
A statement on the Hume District Police Facebook page said the vehicle is connected to missing person Gary Pearce, 21.
In a statement the police said: "the family of the missing person are fully aware of the current position of the investigation and are working with police."
The vehicle has a distinctive 'For Sale' sign on the front windscreen and the registration BH2 1YN.
Police are trying to track the movements of the car in either the Goulburn or Crookwell areas between April 23 and June 9, 2019.
Investigations are continuing into the identity of the driver of the vehicle.
