The Gunning District Landcare was awarded the BCF Give Back to Fish Habitat Award and Ms Croker received the Australian Government Individual Landcarer Award.

In 2017, the group developed a local action plan to make real changes that included working with landholders to identify farm dams suitable for use as breeding refuges
Ms Croker is one of nine champions of the state to receive an award for her vision to restore and protect the environment. She will go on to represent the the state at the 2020 National Landcare Awards held in Sydney.
